Cranda - Slobovia Merger Fails

The much touted Slobovian-Crandan merger proposal has failed despite the aparant support of a majority of citizens and the leadership on both sides. Kuralyov, a Slobovian and Mediterranian citizen, was indicted for treason in Slobovia for his actions in unconstitutionally passing the laws required for a merger in Slobovia. The charges have been dropped after Troy Thompson declared a amnesty, the constitutionality of the amnesty is still unclear.

The path foward in both relativly inactive nations is now unclear.
